  Halloween is coming up. If you like Disney costumes, Sleeping Beauty may be the one for this Halloween, because wide-shoulder jackets are currently on trend. Instead of a wide-shoulder jacket that may make you look bigger than you are, why not pick a Sleeping Beauty costume with a boat-neck stand collar that extends beyond both of the natural shoulders?  It's obvious that your shoulders are not as wide as the boat-neck design of this costume, so it won't make you appear wider-framed than you are. Personally, I like my naturally narrow shoulders and will never put on a wide-shoulder jacket despite the current trend. The only wide-shoulder design I would go for is in the Sleeping Beauty costume. Happy Halloween!

For those of us who would rather not bare the midriff, it would be a good idea to pair low-waist capri jeans with a V-hem top, which is pleasantly slimming. A summer top can still work if you layer a denim jacket over it. Denim on denim is a huge trend in 2024.
