A Faux-fur-trim Coat to Keep You Cozy & Chic

Image
When the weather is terribly cold even in California, we all need to dress warm, but we don't want to look heavier. That's why I'll never put on a puffer coat. A faux-fur-trim coat, on the other hand, can bring just as much warmth but won't add any bulk. My faux-fur-trim coat even has a nipped-in waist, which is quite flattering. Isn't it fantastic to look slim in a coat? Better yet, since such a big faux fur collar works like a thick layer of clothing, you may not need more than a turtleneck sweater under the coat. In the meantime, you can be the first one among your friends to wear this year's shorty shorts. Just pair them with tights and over-the-knee boots to keep your legs from feeling cold. Hopefully, these tips will help you find a cozy and chic coat. Happy shopping!

Peach Fuzz + Butter Yellow

Image
Pantone has named peach fuzz as the company's choice of color for 2024. Peach fuzz is quite a flattering color that can make your skin look peachy, especially if you are fair-skinned like me. Case in point: I'm not wearing any make-up except tinted lip balm, not even BB cream or CC cream, in the photo displayed here.  Peach fuzz goes very well with butter yellow, another color currently on trend. A butter yellow leather jacket layered over a peach fuzz turtleneck sweater will be reminiscent of canned peach slices on top of a cheesecake, looking appetizing while making you psychologically feel warmer in the cold winter. In the meantime, you can incorporate another trendy item, gray jeans, into your winter weekend outfit. In particular, colorblock gray jeans with black side stripes, like mine, will have a slimming effect. Hopefully, these tips will bring you fresh wardrobe makeover ideas for the new year. Happy 2024!
